Kho-Kho The Indigenous game of India that demands explosiveness is the reason that many countries are showing keen interest towards Kho-Kho.As now a days National Camp in Delhi is in news because of it's class which is first time in India that any sports get such type of facilities. Lots of activities in the camp is going on by using modern ways to improvise players performance and suitable diet charts is being provided to every player.This is all due to day night efforts of KKFI and Ultimate Kho-Kho in a short period of time that they make this camp a success.
Amit is a player of Western Railway who is also a part of this camp and give his precious time to our columnist Shamily Sharma in Sunday Kho-Kho Series .
 
Q1.When you started Kho-Kho?
Ans.19 year's back

Q2.What inspires you to start Kho-Kho?
Ans. Not any specific reason usually Kho-Kho was common in my school and also near to my house Kho-Kho was played these things create little interest in starting and slowly and slowly I get totally involved in Kho-Kho.

Q3.What are your achievements?
Ans.India vs England international test match held at Ajmer(Rajasthan) - gold medal

Q4.What is your favourite skill and How you develop it.
Ans.Pole dive is my favourite skill .I practised it much that even I leave the ground I practised it in my mind too.

Q5.As you are part of National Camp in Delhi conducted by KKFI and Ultimate KhoKho .What are your views about the camp?
Ans.Yes this Camp is one of it's kind in my career as I never seen such type of world-class facility in any camp.This camp trained us with both mentally and physically.Through this camp we overcome our weak points in our diet, fitness etc.This camp is really a boost for Kho-Kho in Future.Thanks to KKFI and Ultimate Kho-Kho for uplifting Kho-Kho.


Q6.Can you tell me any unforgettable match which you still remember in which you perform well.Can you explain the why it's special for you?
Ans.As I played through JayHind Club Ichalkaranji .As in 2017 we hosted and organise  All India Invitational Cup tournament.As I am the senior player of my club and trusted player and I had to give my 100 percent in the tournament .So, It's pressure tournament and also one personal reason that Tommorow was my marriage and Finally I performed my best and Achieved best player of tournament award.This match was so much special for me.

Q7.When you play in final what's your strategies against top players of opponents?
Ans.First we observe the best players of opponents and find the errors they did in the previous matches .During the match we effectively work on it.

Q8.How railway is implementing khokho training among players.Can you explain the whole training before senior nationals.
Ans.Firstly railway conduct tournament in which top 20 players are finalised for the camp.During the camp top 12 players are selected and finally they take part in Sr.Nationals tournament.In starting days of camp Fitness, skill and game are the priorities and in 2nd session of camp game and skill practise are the preferences.

Q9.If during final match a wrong decision by referee to your defender and you lost the match.Whats your reaction?
Ans.Yes I feel bad at that time but later on I manage myself and work on our fault so that next time we improve.

Q10.Any Words for Voice of International Player?
Ans.Special thanks to Voice of International Player that the job you are doing for Kho-Kho is commendable as you give me a chance to express myself in front of World Kho-Kho.

Q11.Any words for KKFI?
Ans.Heartly thankful to KKFI that they give me International platform and take me to that level.
