Origin of KhoKho Rules: The rules of the game were framed in the beginning of the 20th century. At Gymkhana Poona, a Committee was formed in 1914, to frame its rules. You can see that Kho-Kho is continuously changing with time. Earlier Kho-Kho is silent in its features whether it's an attack, Defense, skills etc. Kho-Kho is limited to certain states and countries 10-20 years back. As Kho-Kho is pure Indian game it needs to be highlighted much before other games but due to more adaptation of western games by players and higher authorities is the only reason that Kho-Kho did not get that much speed in the era of 1990 to 2000s but in last 3 or 4 years Kho-Kho is accelerating high across the world. Kho-Kho has seen lots of changes whether it's strategy, pace, ground, crowd, popularity, people, tricks etc. In the era of '90 to 2000s Kho-Kho is purely bare feet played in the mud ground, the size of the ground is bigger and players are more calm and composed. Two Major types of Skills in khokho are 1.Offensive Skill 2.Defensive Skill As it is not easier to understand all skills at once .So I will try to explain you one by one in a single post in an easiest manner.
