Tribute to Kho Kho Player Sayam Sharma

Tribute to Sayam Sharma National Kho-Kho Player of Jammu Kashmir , India.

A young and probable National level Kho-Kho player of Jammu, Sayam Sharma died in a tragic road accident that took place at Domana on Jammu-Akhnoor road on 7 July 2019 last year.
Travelling in a car along with a family of four, Sayam and his father lost their lives while two ladies (Sayam’s mother and elder sister), turned out to be fortunate and survived. 

Sayam was motivated by her sister, Reshu Sharma, who has represented Jammu and Kashmir three times in the Senior Nationals. 
He also won gold medal in Khelo India tournament in 2019.
The news of the accident spread saddened the entire Kho-Kho community across the globe. Players across different age groups and those officials of the J&K Kho-Kho Association and the coaches expressed their grief.
