Ans. In 1990 Kho-Kho was less popular. Later on, the Railway team has been formed and Kho-Kho gets good popularity all over the world. More international tournaments, the standard of tournament increases, and also the announcement of the ultimate Kho-Kho league boast more players to join kho-kho as a career game. From a skill perspective, Kho-Kho's skills are more than time and the game is played on mud only. Now the game is shifted to mats as well and skills are less, game is shifted to speed with fewer fouls and a short dimension of ground.

Q5. In Kho-Kho what's your fav skill and how you prepared for it.

Ans. My favorite skill is one-step pole dive. I love the moment when I out the player through pole dive and after taking the point and uttering the 'marla' word gives me the sensational feeling that I still feel. When I watched players of other states doing the one step pole dive I felt good and I practiced the same and in the beginning, it's difficult to grip the pole between while throwing the body on pole from eight positions but with practice, I master this skill and I strive for perfection. I always felt good when I do skills that are difficult and rare.

Q6. As you prepared teams of various schools and they performed well.As you work against your profession as well as you are Electrical Engineer. How you manage this.

Ans. I always desire to train players and they will perform well that's why I worked in KV that was against my profession as I did Diploma in 3 years in Electrical. But due to my passion for the game, I worked in KV for 7 years and every time my team got gold in KVS tournaments that were the loving and unforgettable moment of my life. This thing gives real pleasure as I trained them hard and they give results.

Q7. What are your suggestions to improve Kho-Kho performances in tournaments?

Ans. Camp time must be minimum 25-30 days so that players get the good combination and as well good diet must be taken as it is a very hard game. Its team game players must plan accordingly. There must be a plan from third to pole to secure points. Strategy, planning, execution of plans is very important according to the situation makes this game superb as it involves each neuron as well as muscles to participate for better performances.
